Ahahaha. It's a good thing I didn't go to college; everything I would have been interested in studying turns out to be a financial dead end. Oh, it's the life of an autodidact for me, where the status is none, but the learning is free...

College degrees used to be rare enough that employers considered having one an accomplishment, no matter what the field. So you could, say, get a job in business with a degree in history, like a friend of mine did.
College degree is always a plus, but what really matters is how you use your aptitudes.
